Anhop Metalwork, being a family based busines, has always endeavoured to retain the services of staff long term and foster a team relationship, enabling customers requirements to be met fully. Many of the staff have been employed for several years, with a mixture of backgrounds, covering Blacksmiths, Fabricators, Welders, Semi Skilled, Labourers and Apprentices being employed. This variety allows the company to provide the flexibility to meet the different demands of customers, large and small. The team is led by a Contracts Manager and Workshop Manager, who coordinate projects, from drawings, through site sizes, fabrication sketches, material procurement, fabrication and installation.
In line with the demands of the Construction Industry and the requirements of Site Agents and Contracts Managers, the company is about to embark on the Investors in People scheme, which will enable all staff to be trained, with the relevant skills and understanding being employed. This will ensure that all staff understand the requirements of both customer companies and the various different employees that they will encounter. Coordinating fabrication and installation to meet customers programmes has become essential to the successful completion of projects and all staff will be trained to ensure communication is vital.
